I’ll be putting up Acar Ikan Kurau soon.  Ikan kurau is threadfin fish.   Usually, acar is eaten with white rice.

Hi,

I’ll be putting up coconut candy for orders soon.  For some who are not familiar with coconut candy, below I ‘ve added a few pics that I found from other sites and a bit of description.

Coconut candy is made from fresh coconut flakes, evaporated milk, butter and loads of sugar.  Some thing great for the sweet tooth.

Here’s another version of Benji Cake … Checkered style!

This version has orange flavour.  There’s no filling, only cream.  The length is the same as the other version, approx. 28 cm.

Btw, some would call it Banji.

Anyone interested in this Benji cake for Raya?  This unique cake is like a triangular swiss roll (28cm X 7cm).

We have two flavours:

1. Peach roll:  it’s a chocolate sponge cake on the outside with cream, blueberry filling and vanilla sponge cake layers on the inside.
2. Blueberry roll:  it’s a peach flavoured sponge cake on the outside with cream, peach filling and vanilla sponge cake layers on the inside.

Price per cake:  RM30.00

• These cakes are 100% HALAL and is made by a Malay Muslim lady.
• You can start placing orders.  Orders will only be accepted until 21st August 2009 for Raya 2009 celebrations.
• Email to raya.kuih@gmail.com with the subject “Order“.
• Delivery will only be made on the 19th and 20th September 2009 at selected locations.  I will confirm the locations when you place your order.
• The locations would be in Klang Valley, mainly in Subang Jaya, Shah Alam, Menara Telekom.
• Payment terms:  50% deposit, 50% on delivery
